I am pleased to announce the hiring of several members within our organization. Firefighter Shaun Moore has been hired as our new Engineer; firefighter Taylor Story has been hired as our new Full-Time Firefighter; and firefighters Ryan Gregor, Benjamin Kaufmann and David McWhorter have been hired as Temporary Full-Time Firefighters.

The competition for these positions was fierce. We were very lucky and proud to have well-qualified candidates who gave the hiring committee and me such a tough task to accomplish. We want to thank all applicants for their hard work and for going through the hiring process.

I know you all will be supportive of Shaun, Taylor, Ryan, Ben and Dave as they assume their new roles within our department. Please take a few moments to extend your personal congratulations to them whenever you happen to see them around the station. I’m sure your kind words will be greatly appreciated.
